Did Klein really stop making my favorite strippers?

I love Klein's "new" hybrid strippers, shear cut, spring loaded with lock? My current pair's lock "pin/rivet" is loose and causing it to catch more and more. I have a spare set of the identical strippers that strip 1 less gauge thicker wire.

I want this set with a lock but can't find it anywhere. Yes, I've looked beyond HD, they are just easiest to link.

I tried Knipex's strippers recently and I just can't use non spring loaded wire strippers, no matter how well they do everything else. Of course they have a lock on a non spring loaded pair...

Strippers available today aren't what they used to be. Back in the day, all it took was a fist full of dollar bills and you could go anywhere to get a decent stripper. Today, high quality strippers are outrageously expensive. If you are thinking of getting one for less than $20 - forget about it.

Then, as the OP points out, once you show up with the money for a high quality stripper - they are hard to get.

I just checked for new threads a few hours ago.. I was considered done with new threads till Sunday.

To the OP... I knew a few strippers with teeth that would work perfectly on most smaller gauge wires... up to 12ga.

For the "plier" style strippers... I have Klein. I probably have two dozen strippers locked up in the garage.

I have the following in my 3D printer shop... I love them... wish I had two of them.

Yeah what am I missing here? That HD link shows the ones with a lock as in stock for store pickup?
The links are to 2 different strippers. The yellow lettering pair has a lock and is spring loaded but wont strip as large a gauge wire as the white lettered ones that are spring loaded but don't have a lock. I have the white lettered pair, spring loaded with a lock, so they made them at one point but it seems like they have done away with the lock and spring in most of their models now. The lock is a very nice convenience but spring loaded is an absolute must for me and wire strippers.

I own 20 different pairs of strippers including both of the ones linked in various configurations and the pair I'm looking to buy again because the lock's pin has started to come loose and bind up at times. They are BY FAR my favorite pair of strippers for use as a construction electrician, not mechanic or other electronics type work.

What’s gonna happen to the strippers when we go to digital currency?
