I have a few of the Bauer tools at home. A couple of 4" corded and a Cordless grinder, 7" grinder, belt/disc sander combo, band file, impact wrenches, drywall sander, three different blowers, and some battery chainsaws that my wife can use. So far, everything has performed flawlessly. Some of the stuff I have in the equivalent Milwaukee version on my service truck and they work equally as well so far.

The Harbor Freight tools in my Shop and service van serve me well.

Like Craftsman tools they lack the feel and polish of Snap On, but they are affordable.

What's really unthinkable is when the Harbor Freight tool truck puts Snap-On out of business. There will be screaming and hollering and people spazzing out and rolling around in the gutter like junkies.
HF and Amazon are putting a dent on Snap On among the smarter techs

The dumber ones are buying enough $20-30k toolboxes and $500 7 piece wrench sets however to make up it seems.

You all know that used Snap On tools exist….right? Not to mention other brands that are made in the US that cost considerably less, often marketed toward industry?

You all make it seem like running a $48,000 tab on the Snap On truck and buying cheap offshore tools are the only two options….

We know Snap-On goes way beyond wrenches, sockets and toolboxes with their R&D, manufacturing and diagnostic equipment among others. And they aren't going out of business tomorrow. Just a bit of humor taking jabs mixed with a bit of truth. Actually, I've never before seen the broad range of tools available today at all quality and price levels. When it comes to tools we are in a world of plenty to the point of being spoiled.

I bought that same 10" Bauer Sliding Miter-Saw last week with the 25% off parking lot sale and also the 1 yr extended warranty. Picked up a Diablo 60 tooth blade at HD to put on it.

If this saw works as good as the rest of the Bauer line of tools I've purchased and been using regulary I'll be more then happy. I'll be putting this miter-saw thru its paces over this winter. Couple big project for our home. If it gets thru these projects, then money well spent.1761280749126.png

Dude, I bought the Hercules table saw and it actually rules. The fence is so nice. I want to try the Hercules belt grinder too.

Meh. The water is warm. Hop on in.
Bauer impact driver, 1/2 impact gun... Fine. Corded angle grinder and sawsall... Fine. The grinder is a loud little *******, and I have not been kind to it, still kicking. The sawsall gets butcher jobs. Nothing to complain about, or apologize for. If my personal margins were higher, I would have opted for the Hercules. 🤣

I buy the angle grinders 'cause they're like $20, and I don't like swapping wheels mid project. They're just going to breath metal dust, and then die. Throw it away & grab another.
