Wouldn't it have been more appropriate to PM the member or a moderator or use the report function? Seems kinda inappropriate to make a public thread on the topic, when the guy probably just didn't know any better.

As a suggestion though this is why many forums will hide the classified section from people with enough posts to partake.

some thing must of slipped, It used to not let you until you reached the 100 post mark, maybe a hiccup of the new servers.

That has always been true (since the rules change), but if you are not a paying (alliance member) or have 100 posts you used to be locked out of the classified section for selling things.

Some how that poster found a way round the rules. Not something I usually deal with so I can not say what went wrong or why. If you see any thing like that again the best thing to do is use the report button.

A report would have dealt with it faster and if any thing had changed you would have then been advised via PM.

I was not out of line to PM him was I?
I will just use the report button from now on,
But I thought I'd give him a heads up, on the post count, and the bump,
and give him a chance to delete it.
