I posted a monster picture and it shrunk to fit the screen, then it was clickable without me having to write HTML code. I hope this is a permanent thing! :bounce:

It seems to be doing it automatically for me, too. I posted a couple rather large ones a couple days ago, without thinking & it resized them. Plus, I noticed if you click on the photo, it will open it up full size.

I know it has been requested a lot. What browser are you using CF? I am using Safari and there was a recent update, but I just don't think that is it. If we did get one, Thank You Ryan!

I'm using chrome here on my work computer. I'll check it out a bit later on my home computer & see if it's the same.

Those are both attached images. Here's a large-ish linked image:

The linked and attached are both working on my old safari 6.2.8 for me

Great!!! It's so helpful to view details on the large photos.

Since Ryan doesn't visit FP very often, I've moved this in an effort for him to see it. He'll be the only one that can answer the question.

I want to try

This is the largest photo I could upload to a photo sharing site and then pasting the code here. It seems it's been resized well. Usually the photo is so large it takes a horizontal scoll bar to even see all of it.

Testing it

Hot dang, it took a 4MB. Still has to be clicked to view full size but certainly beats having to resize.

a bit off subject but now can someone tell me how to get the thumbnail I just created above to be a full size picture in that post. I seem to recall there is a way but forget the procedure.

You attach it like normal. Then go into your post and open the attached image. Right click and copy the image url. Then go back into the original post and edit it using the image tag.
