die grinder bits?

I just bought a couple of die grinders. they are both 28,000 rpm. my question is what kind of bits should i use with them? probably just stones and carbide burrs right? are there any wire brushes that will work with this?

Wire brushes up to 25 000 are easier to find, 28k a little less so: http://www.feltonbrushes.com/index.php/technical-information/felton-brushes-187

Abrasive cut-off wheels are another common use for a die grinder.

Carbide burrs are nice.

If it's electric is it variable speed ? Air is easy. Put a throttle on it ( pressure-speed regulator)
