There is some difference in grinders, the uber cheap 10$ ones are worth 10$, I wore a couple out, they lasted way longer than we expected them to,,, sure there is a difference in a 700$ one, 690$ so I wouldn't have to buy a second cheap one when the first wore out.
I have seen and used a few more than I might have if my air source was a home 30 gallon comp, actually used hundreds and seen 1000;s. Here is myb take. The import grinder has come a long way and some are as good as the 400$ units they replaced and maybe better. The right angles in the pic have been used a lot,,,, way more than any part timer or hobby type ever could and at 20 pluss years are as good as the day we took them out of the box, never so much as tightened a screw on one of them.
I am on my second 7 inch in a career, this one had a bearing go out of the head about 10 yrs in and it was something I had on hand and a 5 minute fix and never replaced it and the straight is a Husky, also sold as a farmhand and other names, this model is rebranded world wide and is very good.
Its easy to say, well the 30$ one might **** the bed but so does a 400$ one.
These are my proven picks, there are probably others but these we have used in an environment where there is enough work to make some valid comparison.

Anyone know the difference between the Milton 760 and S760? They are both 1/4" V fittings and both appear the same. I first thought the "S" was for steel, but the 760-1 is the steel variant. The link above does not have the "S", and is significantly cheaper. I'm only seeing the S version on Northern, and Milton's website wasn't giving me much info.

The "S" version is a blister pack/cardboard version with 2 ******* per pack. The 760 non S is just a loose ****** without packaging.
