Is the new DieHard 6A Battery Charger worth buying at $44.99? I would like to hear from those who own it.

After charging the battery does it go in to maintainer mode?

It is almost the same price as the DieHard Platinum 6V/12V Battery Charger and Maintainer Sears Item # 02871239000P.

Does the DieHard 6A Portable Shelf Battery Charger & Starter go in to trickle charge mode after it charges up the battery?

Was hoping to find reviews on GJ, but found questions.

I can get the 6A charger for $24 (local price), but after a year there is only one customer review on the Sears website. And it's negative.
