I know that most people install these inside the vehicle. But is there anything wrong with installing it under my van and just piping the heat in through a 3" hole in the floor? In another thread people say that makes it burn more fuel. But I almost never need more than H1 with the portable I use now. And I don't see how it would need more fuel if I never turn it up past that, cold intake or warm intake. Thoughts?
