Just finished installing two diesel heaters , one in my double car Attached garage and the other in a cargo trailer i use for snowmobiles. Very impressed with these newer versions. Both Hcalory 8kw from Amazon, They Run on 12v with a AC/DC adapter, i run them both on 120. Wiring up the F-150 to 120 with onboard pro-power to keep the trailer heater on while i use it. Keeps the garage at 20c on cold days. i have a electric 220 hanging in the garage and i don't use it except for a 1/2 hour in the morning to get the temp up, after that it diesel heater all day, and its plenty warm. worth checking them out..

Awesome stuff! Are you using pump diesel, or home made bio-diesel,.. or black diesel? It'd be really effective if you could run them on filtered, used motor oil (I've seen a few guys do that,.. to save $$)

Just regular Diesel from the pumps, if i get near a station selling colored diesel ill look at getting some of that. using a liter a day or so to keep the shop warm, so not to bad for being warm.

They both are! As seen in pics. Drilled a hole in the foundation of the garage between the doors. works well for the combustible factor. the cargo trailer went through the fuel door that i never use.
