Anyone know the main differences between the older 7400 and the newer 7600? I keep my eyes open for one of these at a good deal since I won't use it very often and a 7400 in really good condition popped up for sale for a good price. They look very similar to me so wondering what upgrades the 7600 has over the 7400? Just want to make sure the 7400 will work for me or if I should hold out for the 7600. From what I've read the 7600 will handle a wider range of vehicles but not sure. Thanks

Found on web, from 2014:

Update: I just spoke with Branick customer service and there are two differences between the 7400 and the 7600. The first is that the 7600 has an extra inch of travel to accommodate the Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk and the other is the 7600 has a guard on the front so that the damper rod bolt has to be removed from the side as opposed to the front (for safety reasons). Apparently this requires using a swivel adapter if using an impact wrench. Other than that, they are the same unit. Considering I will never own a Jeep Cherokee, I think I will opt for the 7400.
