Difference between Williams Supercombo and Supertorque?

Got these at a pawn shop for like $5. I thought they were all exactly the same but upon closer inspection I realized that the 1/4 and 5/16 are stamped "Supertorque" while the 7/16 and 1/2 are stamped "Supercombo". (there wasn't a 3/8 in the set)

So what's the difference? Other than the stamping they all look identical.

The don't look to differ in length. They look like the came out of the exact same set lol

Now that I've looked even closer, the Supercombos look to have some machining in the open end similar to flank drive plus. And the Supertorques don't - they're just smooth?

I believe that is the difference. I am not sure if they shared the same length.

You kind of answered your own question. Williams refers to SUPERTORQUE as being their off corner engagement system used on the wrench's boxed end. Like their version of flank drive. Since the smaller wrenches don't have modified open ends, they are only supertorque.
However, your larger wrenches are marked SUPERCOMBO because they have the off corner engagement box ends along with modified opens ends to direct force away from a fastener's corners.

Supercombos also have a much heavier beam then the Supertorque, supertorque's have
"normal" beam thickness.

I saw on ebay a few years ago supercombo's with smooth jaws. Not sure what the idea was there.

Above a certain size-1 and 3/8 inch?- I think the wrench only comes with smooth open end instead of having the groves,otherwise I think the box ends are the same and the same fat beam-I have seen them with "Polish" shiny chrome as well as the grippier finish that people call "Satin" that looks more macho to me,at least for a large wrench
I think "Supercombo" is supposed to have the groves in the open end
