Difference betweenMilwaukee xc and xc4.0 batteries

Was in home depot tonight and seen milwaukee batteries they had packages marked xc and others marked xc4.0 also a $30 difference in price they look identical and looking at package couldnt tell a difference so I though i would ask the almight garage journal

XC are 3Ah and 4.0 is 4Ah

ok thank you but what threw me off is the description on home depots site, northern tools site, cpo milwaukee site, for the 2604-22 fuel hammer drill states it comes with 2 xc batteries but the part number they list are for 4.0 batteries
