Different design 3-rd hand soldering holder "Pro's Kit"

Just got back from Taiwan and found this gem at an electronics supply store.
I've always hated this POS version.

So when I saw this much simpler Pro's Kit I had to buy it. All i'm trying to do is solder 2 gosh darn wires together I don't need the clips to have a double pivot joint.

That looks alot better than the cheap version, but I would swap the clips and bases from side to side so the thumb screws face out so you can get them closer together if needed.
