Anyone know why Snap On has these two different step styles in their 1/2 drive x 1/2" sockets? I'm guessing it's just different years of manufacture had different designs.
^^^ This... lots of newer fasteners have limited access that the older style doesn't play well with. Just ran into this last week... and that car wasn't all that new, but the old "widewall" ones would have been too big to reach the fastener.
