Does anyone have any good ways to store handled tools in the garage? Brooms, shovels, etc. I’m wanting to utilize wall space and keep my floors open as much as possible.
Something like these fold down hooks work well.

All of the box stores sell something similar
Made these out of 5/8 form ply, they hold a lot of tools. can make to desired length.
My rule is no garden tools or bicycles in the garage. A small storage shed to store these garden tools is a great idea. Take a look here:

There is another LARGER version of a tool shed like this that was in one of the recent issues Family Handyman. It has a materials list and instructions how to build it.
Guess I am lazy, I use a 55 gallon plastic barrel with the top cut out of it.
Yes, garden tools and bicycles are clunky to store, especially around classic cars, or even daily drivers.
