A search didn't bring up anything, so what are you using for a digital inspection camera?

The HF model has some very mixed reviews. How much would one have to spend to get a good, reliable unit?

Any features a must or a bust?

I’ve had one from H.F. now for several years. It’s the only battery powered device that hasn’t needed a new battery. Great for wall exploration, combustion chamber peeks, finding nuts/ bolts in alternative universes.
You can make decent money on the side if you don’t mind giving colonoscopies :lol_hitti

I use the larger one from harbor freight. It is closer to $170 than the $75 version.

These are pics of the screen, of a dropped valve in my dodge 360... though it does have an option to take a snap shot, save it to an SD card, and then upload to the computer.

I’m happy with it so far. It has many many useful options, but mostly it has a rechargeable battery, so I don’t have to keep buying batteries (and it’s lithium ion iirc).

I also use the larger one for my inspections. But the prices are different now since this was last posted...
Heck, the whole industry has updated their game. What software do you guys use with your cameras nowadays?

Has anyone had any success using a digital camera with a microscope attachment for their electronic inspections? I'm currently doing some compatibility research, I'm not too tech savvy but heck... you can find anything on the internets nowadays :p.

Even a community of great people willing to help :D

Are you looking for something like a stereo microscope or a more mobile magnified-borescope solution?
