I will have to see if I have my old service manuals. Those were pretty reliable engines, so most of the vehicles I was working on were from the late 80's early 90's, for engine work. I'm not doubting you, I do remember when the manual angle gauges became popular, but I didn't own one until recently, only because it was a Snappy at a ridiculously low price on ebay. LOL So I can't remember ever needing one. I am in a different trade now, so I have never had to torque and angle anything. But I recently built a shop, for my personal and some side work, and I am considering getting new torque wrenches.
