Thanks for the heads up, I would like to buy new if possible. I don't mind spending a bit, but I can not justify Snap On prices unfortunately.

That approach really limits you. I studied Snap On's torque wrench product line. Found a first generation gray techangle. It was owned by an engine builder, who reported the tool was turning itself off in use. I bought it on eBay for under $50 IIRC. Gave it back to Snap On for "calibration" knowing a) Snap On charges $80 and always upgrades the handles b) the handles were the reason for the electronic problems.

Now I have an essentially new techwrench, under warranty due to replaced parts, that I paid around $130 for. Freak deal? I actually bought 2 like that. I paid just under $100 for the other one. There are some new gen models on Craigslist in my area I'd like to make low offers on. I think they could be had for about $200.

Been shopping for toolboxes for about a year. Bought an old red Snap On KRL761, needs a little TLC , for $700. Snap On is replacing a couple drawer runners for me. This is a rare deal. You have to be patient. But if you know what you are doing you can get top quality for HF prices. Or, if you can't wait, don't want to research, you pay retail.

Assembling some tools today to take to a local tool and die shop that sold me a full sized Bridgeport for $500. The owner was confused when the y axis stopped working. No one bothered to pull the lead screw. So they sold it for scrap.

In this life you need either money or brains. If you don't have money, use your brains!

The Gearwrench (Apex) electronic wrenches are made in China. Maybe they box them in the USA? In any case they are now discontinued. They do not currently have any torque/angle wrenches in their line.
You can still find them in stock at some sources.

The re-branded Craftsman and Matco ones listed earlier don't do angle. If you can live without the angle Sears has the 1/2" on sale for $79.99 right now.

Yea, I am having a tough time finding the gearwrench.
I would like angle as I do headwork and it requires degree angles many times.

I watched a youtube video and the eastwood looks like a nightmare to use.
