Digital torque+angle wrenches/adaptors

Anyone have suggestions for affordable and accurate torque+angle wrench or adapter? Preferably something with both features (all in one) thats in the neighborhood of >15-150 ft-lbs and less the $250? Looking to use it mainly as a calibration/validity of dedicated torque wrenches and angulation of tty fasteners.

So far I have my eye on the Eastwood Electronic Torque Angle Adapter 15-150 ft-lb +/- 1% $65 shipped

Big difference in price and accuracy. For the limited reviews on the Eastwood 13625 there is very little mentioned on its ability to accurately measure angulation. As for the USAG 814, it looks like a nice product (see video), but I cant find any user review/discussion.

Only actual wrench I can find in my price range is the Gearwrench 85073 10-100 ft-lb +/- 2% $225 (Amazon link)and it has less then stellar reviews despite its big brother (1/2" 25-250lb) that has 16 5star reviews (Amazon link).

The Brown Line Metalworks BLDAG001 gets very good reviews. One advantage of it is that you can use the tool with almost any torque or ratchet wrench.

The USAG Torque plus angle adapter is in fact made by Eclatorq in Taiwan. This exact same unit is also sold by Proto. I sell Eclatorq's digital torque wrenches and these adapters. That is their model AD4-340CN and a very nice unit. I sell these for $175. I think this is a better way to go than a torque angle wrench.

I really don't believe in torque angle wrenches. I believe in using a torque wrench for the preload torque and a digital angle meter such as the above referenced Brown Line Metalworks unit or the Eclatorq version which is their model AM-BM. You can check these out on Eclatorq's website. My bias in this regard has to do with the size of the torque angle wrenches and the fact that you can very easily exceed their rated capacities in actual use. Let me explain. You have a spec on the GM 3800 that calls for the head bolts to be torqued to 37 foot-lb's. If you have Gearwrench's 100 ft-lb 3/8" drive model that's no problem, but, then your suppose to add an additional 130 degrees. By the time you do this you're far over the 100 ft-lb rating of the 3/8" Gearwrench torque angle wrench and it's going to go into error mode. That requires it to be send back to Apex tool for resetting. Eclatorq is no different. If the maximum torque is exceeded on their torque angle wrenches I have to use a special software program, which I have, to reset these as well. I think the torque and the angle should be done by separate tools.

I have not used the Eastwood Torque Angle Adapter but I have used their 3/8" torque angle wrench and it's a very good torque wrench but a completely useless torque angle wrench.

I don't like the Gearwrench torque angle wrenches very much and I have both of them.
