Dimmer switch with a hot outlet down line

Hi folks I had a new porch built. The wife wonts a dimmer switch and out of this box i wont a outlet that is live all the time. How do I wire it? Thank you.

Need to run the power into the switch box, then power from that switch box to the outlet box. Then you need another wire from switch box up to the light. So you will have 3 sets of wires in the switch box. All whites go together and get tucked in the back, grounds go together with a tail to the switch, two blacks that are your power go together with a tail to the switch, then your last black wire which is the one to the light go on other side of switch.

If your dimmer has wires coming off of it then you don't need the tails, you can wire nut them without a tail
