i have been using my mitler dimple dies for years now without fail, i love the look of flared holes in everything when i build a hot rod.
my question is, how are you guys cutting your holes to be flared? i have been using traditional hole saws, which don't do a great job.
i have a greenlee knockout punch set, but i think only one of the punches in that kit is actually the right size for dimple die.
there are several hydraulic punch tools on ebay that are cheap and could work, but before i order anything, i thought i'd ask

here is an ebay kit...

The far side of crazy.. but sometimes Australia
I have a set of Qmax punches that I bought to match the flaring dies. Same as a Greenlee punch except made in the UK. I have the Australian equivalent of the HF hydraulic punch, my plan is to make a modified mandrel to attach the Qmax's when I have five minutes spare.

The kit you linked to would work to punch holes, but they're conduit/pipe sizes.

You can use the hydraulic unit with Greenlee chassis punches, which are available in "actual" hole sizes instead of nominal pipe size. I have a couple of these (1-1/2" and 1-5/8"), and they work great. The only thing to be careful of with the chassis punches is some of them are only 16 gauge capacity instead of 10 or 12 gauge like the pipe size punches.

Here's a link to Irvan-Smith's website.

I use Jancy sheet metal hole saws. Those things work great! Very accurate hole for the lip on the dies.
