Installing a couple of Dimplex LPC heaters. (http://www.dimplex.com/en/page.php?id=27&p=759&s=60)

These little suckers get hot, so they come with spacers that push them out from the wall and up off the floor by about 3/4".

Along the bottom of the heater there's a C channel that, if installed flat on the floor and wall, would protect the 12/2 wire running along the bottom to the connection at the right.

However, the spacers would leave open the possibility for the cable to sag out and hang down under the heater.

Problem:
Obviously the best solution would be to have the 12/2 come out of the wall on the right side of the heater, but that's not possible. One, it comes out of the wall at the wrong side and second, it's too short.

So I'll cut, twist and extend it at the left side of the heater and run it along the bottom, but I'm concerned that the channel would allow it to sag down.

Anyone installed one of these have any tips?

Cheers.

Alright, figured out that one.

Here's another:

There's two wires coming from the wall. I guess a full sized heater for the room requires two connections.

However the heater that's going in is smaller and only uses one. I'm guessing it's too tight to pull both into the heater, connect one and terminate the other. Any suggestions to safely terminate the unused wire?
