Well, it's been a while since i've been able to update my website due to technical difficulties at yahoo/geocities. It's too bad that didn't have difficulties taking the 6 bux this month though. Anyway- the garage has been slow recently since other projects took priority (mainly keeping the pregnant wife happy :) ).

I've updated a page with pictures from sanding and painting the drywall.

On a side note: It's freaking cold here and have some snow already.
I'll be on vacation next week and will be putting the final touches on the gas line and get the Mr. Heater 45Kbtu installed. I plan on taking alot of pics and documenting that so stay tuned!!!

Nice job dipper. The garage is definitely progressing quite well.

I'm in Rochester as well; as the temps drop, the morning commute times rise (seemingly in proportion to one another).

~Keep up the progress

Went back through all your photo pages. Lots of hard work. But clearly you have strived to do a top notch job. Really looks good. Drywall is the last of the hard, dirty jobs in a project like this. It's all down hill from here.

I think Yahoo still has issues as I kept getting errors accessing your pages:
Sorry, Unable to process request at this time -- error 999

but the garage looks great!

That's a great looking garage Dipper. Good to see it from beginning to end. Looks like you put a lot of thought into it before picking up the hammer and chainsaw.

I saw some nice ideas I've filled away:)

Question -where did you get the radial saw (page 10 pic 2917)?

Thanks for the commets.
Doug I-
Radial saw is my older brothers, he got it from our grandpa when he passed
many years ago. He used it alot on his build years ago too. It's a great saw for
doing siding. It cut all the way through the double 4" vinyl siding.

I'll need to look thru those pics as I am thinking if I get the place I want (wife has to OK it) I will build me a 20x20x9.5' in the back for my own little hideout spot and place to wrench on my monster EB.

Edit. Looks good, 8.5' ceiling? I am plannin very similar with the paint scheme but Blue stripe.

16x7 door I imagine? Mine will be 9x8 over on one side so I have the side area to do my hobby work.

Ceiling height is just under 10', I built up a full 8' wall that sits about a course and a half of block above the finished floor.

I went with the 16x7' door, it was cheaper and I didn't need the extra height.

Thanks for all the comments.

It's a little quieter, maybe more when I get some more insulation installed in the ceiling. For me, it was the space savings that prompted me to get it off the main floor.
