why would you sell those two things together. It makes no sense to me. Other than getting attention with the Snap On name.

That's exactly it, you'll often see sellers bundle a Snap On socket with a no-name ratchet so they can list a "Snap On Socket and Ratchet" to hoodwink the unwary while still not running afoul of ebay's rules about false listings if they get reported. As Hiball said, it's dirty, but what can you do?

I don't know if I'd call it dirty, its very ebayish though. The sellers are slick and the buyers need to beware. I attend a lot of live auctions and you have to be careful there also. If a rail of sockets has a few snap on, they are sold as Snap on. I try to look closely at everything.

The ending price seems ok, $83 plu 12 s&h. I bought one of those prybars from Napa the was 36" long and it was $86. So for 3 new ones, that probably wasn't bad.

The winner should be okay with it. Those prybars are not junk.

However, you are correct that sellers sometimes misrepresent the item by throwing in one inexpensive SO tool and a lot of junk tools.

Let's not forget the very "best" title to get hits when people search -- "Brand *** POS ratchet -- snap a socket on". In fairness, at least this doesn't mislead the people actually bidding on the item, but it is still annoying when conducting searches.
