After all the great ideas I've gotten from this forum, I figured it was about time i manned up and redid my garage. I'm rather ashamed at how bad I let the garage get over the six years I've owned the house. So this will be the only pic I'm going to post of the before.
I'm a former wanna be road racer that now only races MX, and a long time motorcycle rider, I need to turn this into a proper work shop. The only rule is I need to keep it within a small budget and all the bikes and both cars need to fit in here during the winter.
During race season the MX bike is stored in the team's shop so it's not pictured here.
The plan is to first gut and fully clean the space. The rest will happen in the following order:
1. Gut and clean
2. Install 2 additional 8' lights, 2 electrical outlets on east wall, 1 additional outlet on south wall, and 2 outlets on west wall
3. Patch and re-mud the original shotty drywall job.
4. Paint ~ thinking semi-gloss white
5 Install cabinets and rack system on south wall as pictured below.
6. Organize and put all tool ect. back in their proper place
7. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a beer.
