Disc sander drill attachment? Brand?

Just ran across this in grandpas tool shed. No brand name markings, handle is reversible, and so is the disc, just not sure what the half and double represents on the side. One would need a corded drill if they were going to do a lot of sanding with this attachment.

There is a good chance there is gearing inside that thing to either double or half the rpm.

Rotate one shaft one full turn and see if the other shaft rotates either half a turn or 2 full turns.

Yep your right when I rotated the disc (mounted on half shaft) one full turn the double shaft made two revolutions.
I guess this tool was an ok idea back in the day.
I also came across these Ford pliers, one of the handles can be used as a screw driver.
