I was doing some work with my BIL last week and needed to re-tap a hole in a metal ceiling box. He handed me his set of these: Klein Tools 32217 Drill Tap Tool Kit, Six Tap Sizes Plus Two Extra of the Smaller Taps.

These things are GREAT!

I have the greenlee version of the same thing. My experience with them hasn't been that great, the bit gets in the way so sometimes you can't cut threads as deep as you want. I've broke a bunch of them.

I would rather have a traditional hand tap.

They're great for control panel building. I also have had the Klein 6 in 1 Multitap for decades (literally). It works great and fits in a tool pouch.
