Learn how Snap-on tool boxes are made when Discovery’s Science Channel airs a special “How it’s Made” episode featuring the popular rolling red Snap-on tool box on Friday, October 2 at 9:00 p.m. EST.

Currently airing on the Discovery’s Science Channel, “How it’s Made” is a documentary program showing how everyday items are manufactured. Six Snap-on tools were chosen in total to be used in “How it’s Made”, including a pneumatic impact wrench, ratchet, combination wrench, socket/extension set, screwdriver set and a rolling red tool box. Yeah I love that show too. It's kinda dull and dry, but a lot of times they have some interesting stuff being featured. Channellock was featured when they did an episode on how pliers were made.

Did anyone see the one of the engines being cast and formed? Cool stuff. I'd like to see the one about the tool boxes being made.

I didn't get it tonight. On Direct TV they made baseball gloves, whistle balls, ballons, alumn. cook pots & wheels,and bricks....No Snap-on tonight on central time in AL...Right now the Dirty Jobs are in progress...TIM

It was very short. They showed the assembly of a classic 78 I think. It was neat to watch, but I think they should have made it a whole half hour.

The first segment showed how they made GP motorcycles... They showed a lot of BETA tools in the background.

They also showed a snap on box with what looked to be a radio in it??? Anyone see what that was?

P.S. It was on the Science channel here....

Just go to YOUTUBE.COM and do a search for 'how it's made snap-on' and you should hopefully find something.
