Welcome! Got a garage Layla? There are a few ladies on this board that are into tools and wrench on their own cars.
I am in no ways comparable to Snapmom (a tooling idol of mine). I've been watching her posts for about 4 months now. I have a set of SO yellow handled screw drivers, an F936 with a 06 date code, and a plethora of other makes and models. I do like to work on my own cars and hobbie with friend's cars (and my own).

Alright, in a nutshell I'll do my best to abbreviate my story. At my work ( I work with J.A.F.E.) all day long we get stupid *** songs in our heads that we call "earworms." We had another woman working with us at the time named Krista who was especially prone to them. We'd get her going on one and then tease the hell out of her- one day I started singing "I am a pretty little dutch girl as pretty as pretty can be... and all the boys around the block are crazy over me...." So needless to say it was an earworm hit and it has stuck as a nickname ever since. I'm otherwise known as "D", "The Dutch", "Dutch", "Dutchess", "Dutch One" and when I'm stoned I'm "Hollandazed."
I am not Dutch. I am Italian.

Like most other women it's hard to tell what any of us are doing. And like most women we like to leave men confused. I guess my avatar has left you wondering. I'll keep it that way.
GJ is not a substitute. It's far too superior to be such. Besides, I probably have more in common with these tool junkies than most of my peers or self obsessed girls my age who flaunt themselves on MySpace.
MySpace is full of cludge and unnecessary theatrics.
Facebook on the other hand is cool- I personally don't mind it, but I'm on hiatus.

Ah, got it.
lol, I thought that was Rosie, but I haven't seen her in a while and had a senior moment 40 years too soon. I never really could decipher her expression; it looks like she's flexing her bicep, but I've always thought that she was also flipping off the Axis powers. =)
