Those are also the same as the James high bays at ledlightingwholsale.com. Those are meant to be chain hung out of the box, there is a bracket made for direct mounting that you can see on the led highbay thread here for an extra cost.

Thank you I wish I saw that thread yesterday. I did search.
I bought the DIVA from BEE with surface mounts. I didn't see the surface mounts on the other James listed.

My electrician originally recommended lithonia.

Yep, I was just making sure you saw that a surface mount bracket was required. It would be nice if they didn't get you for $20 for a $1 piece of sheetmetal though...:(

One cool option about the DIVAs is they offer a 10v dimming option. It's more money, but I think being able to dim them is very useful.

The ones from BEEs didnt have a surface mount they sent me a pendant mount.
I called https://www.ledlightingwholesaleinc.com/ about the james lights. He told me the Aleo are the same light they have a surface mount kit so I ordered them and have to shop back the ones for Bees.
Saved another $600 so that is good.

When you get them, post up a picture of the surface mount kit, I don't see what it looks like on the brochure. Others may be interested.

I just got three of the aleo 225w fixtures (https://www.ledlightingwholesaleinc.com/SLB4-225-p/slb4-225.htm). Haven't hung them yet (hopefully at least one this weekend), but they appear well built externally. They do have dimming capability.

In my 40x60x16, I've got 30, 2 bulb t8 fixtures. 6 down the ridge line, 4x in each of the six 20'x20' quadrant. 2 of the t8 fixtures will be 1:1 replaced while the third will be an addition. On specs, I should see about 4x the light under the new fixtures...if I remember, I'll take some pics before after with constant settings (shutter/aperture/iso). Here's to hoping no doa's and lots of lumens :)

Forgot the important part... If you order them, ask that they be double boxed. Mine survived (cosmetically at least) but the diffuser at least seems to me to be very at risk of damage in shipping - just one layer of cardboard (and no air gap) between it and tears. I emailed them and told them, but no harm in asking to minimize the need for an exchange.
