Any way to rig an old refrigerator compressor and cooling system to an air compressor?

as cheap as the mini fridges (under 100 bucks) are I'm suprised one of us hadn't thought of designing ( don't like the word rigging ) a system that would work . a 1/2 "20' coil with a collector tank at the bottom with a auto drain should work because of the excellent temp/dew point drop .and can do dual purpose as a beverage cooler ... which actually help the cooler opeate more effiencently ....(but might impair the operator. .)

The reason I asked is because I have one sitting out in my other garage right now. If someone has the knowledge, I'd do it.

A bucket of ice water with a coil of copper tube inside works just fine for me. And there ain't no whirling sharp edges for me to cut myself on

It would be a very cold day in Hades before I'd put that Rube Goldberg fan/oil cooler in my shop-I don't care if it works or not. Anybody with any pride or sense of self preservation wouldn't have that mess any where it might be seen and possibly credited to them. It wouldn't take much more effort and only a little more time to make it look better and a whole lot safer. And to top it all off,he had the 'nads to put it on the net and brag about it?
