For those of you who ground your floor back to concrete, what tool did you hire and from where?

Also did you do it wet or dry? Any advantages or disadvantages to either wet or dry.

I went to Home Depot, and the tool they're telling me to use is this. Which doesn't have a vacuum attachment. They did have a similar looking machine with a vaccuum attachment, however they said that was more for floor polishing, and this is the one to use and to prevent dust, just grind while the floor is wet.

Also this is the blade they recommend is this diamabrush.

There was another blade that had more brushes on it, but they said, no that was more for etching the concrete, and all i needed was to remove my old lifted epoxy.

I've not tried other tool rental places... Should I? or is the above enough to get the job done.

My garage is 525sq ft, i want to get it prepped with as little headache as possible. Even if i have to pay more for a better tool .

Diamabrush is the way to go. Assuming you had a coating there now you want the removal tool. Definitely need a shroud or need to build a homemade one

Where does everyone get one from tho? because the Home Depot ones do not come with a shroud.
