I've had my plasma table for close to 15 years. It's had cut50d, cutmaster 42, and pm45xp. I can still see a nurse l need for the plasma cutter, but looking at what it would take to cut up to 8ga steel with a fiber laser, it doesn't seem that hard. Xyz is easy enough but the laser controls are a little intimidating. I can muddle my way through linuxcnc, but it looks like the laser modules have their own software. Has anybody here built their own and figured the software side out?
