Hi guys,
probably a question old as sin but help would be welcome.
I have recently sold my house and with that my shop that was exactly to my liking. Had it for 25 years, everything from electrobnics over guitar building to engine overauls and tuning. Tools on metal pegboard over the mech-bench and sundry items in drawers and a lockable steel cabinet.
Gave 80 % away to friends and now have some left in two boxes with next to no order. All my mech tools are first class Swedish or German.
Rolling tool cabinets that are popular in the US are rather sparse in Sweden. The apartment I live in has a large storage room in the basement and a midsized cabinet with drawersw would be great. 40"*25" *60" no prob.
Except that ALL cabinets here come with drawers with no inlays for tools at all. Only exception is to buy a cabinet with tools, but the COO and content of those are at best 3rd class.
So, any idea how to DIY organizers for screw drivers, open/box end spanners, pliers ........ would be most welcome.
Watercutting of foam rubber would be great but difficult to find here in Sweden. The shop will probably ask " How many hundred of each design do you need?"
