I have a 5000slx QuickJack and the extensions. Unfortunately, the max length is still too short for my Honda Odyssey.
The spread of the seamed lifting points on the van is 64" inside to inside (QuickJack calls this minimum lifting point spread), 72" outside to outside (QuickJack calls this maximum lifting point spread). The extension platforms list 66" as minimum lifting spread- I mistakenly thought that since my 64-72" was within the 66" minimum that the extensions would work. What this would give you is only one inch of lifting point contact on each jack point. Confusing (to me anyway) specs from QuickJack. I want the platform to cover the maximum spread, so I have full contact with the jack points.
So, my plan is have a duplicate set of extensions built, but add 3" to each end.
I thought I saw pictures from a previous post from someone who had built something similar- any general input?
Thanks
