My nephew lives in Denver, me in Phoenix. He's been wanting a shuffleboard for a few years. He wanted something original and interesting. He found some bowling alley wood and asked me if I could build a shuffleboard cradle around it.

Not a wood guy so I decided to design and build it out of steel.

Here's are a few pictures, and a slide show link if you're interested;

Ok so how many of us garage dwellers are loking at this work of art thinking that would be a great work bench?

That is something you need to start selling!!! Great work is it as heavy as it looks?

Very nice work. That would be a great project to build, not to mention utilizing it and having a drink at the same time since it does have cup holders.

It wasn't difficult to build, if you have a decent sized garage and a few friends to help lift it up and down during fabrication.

I was thinking about adding axles and pulling it up there, lol.

Each half of the steel cradle with legs was about 200 lbs.

Could also double as a buffet table.

Great Job! Now you need to build a Poker Table and get rid of the fold out card table. LOL
