Needed to Bead some new aluminium radiator pipes for a formula ford
So I converted a pipe cut off tool
A little machining some trail and error works a treat
All for under $25 dollars

Nice, thats a good simple mod, especially for the smaller diameter tubing that normal swages cant fit.

That pretty trick!

Back when I needed to "adjust" a rad hose connection I had to machine some billet aluminum stock and add the hose barb because I couldn't find any place that sold such an item, the bender or the aluminum necks.

made a similar one for 3/8" steel pipe about 25 yrs ago
I used a midget cutter and still have the dies I made to convert.

Now for smaller stuff I use my Mastercool hydraulic set and make a bubble flare.

was watching one of the car shows on power nation and they had a vise mounted tool that did the bead to any size pipe,as long as it was large enough to fit the die into.
