well, its been 1 week since I was told my stuff shipped, I've pm'd 2-3 times now.
The first response I got was he didn't get anything from me.
The second said it shipped last Monday, I sent another pm requesting shipment notification and no response.
i got a feeling I've been burned!
Best case is I get my stuff and piss poor communication. Had i seen it was a new member i wouldn't have bought anything, although I'm a new member I've bought a couple things, but I'm not a seller, just a hoarder
If I get my stuff, I'll fix this thread, but no reason for poor communication at all.

I bought my tools on the 15th. That day he thanks me, says my stuff goes out tomorrow, and that I ought to look for tracking info soon. On the 16th, he changes his ad to mark the tools I bought sold. On the 20th, no tools yet, he said my package shipped on the 19th. I emailed and sent PMs via GJ over the weekend, neither of which were responded (though I did notice him log in here).
If it weren't obvious I'd been lied to, I'd allow more time. We're less than 4 hours away -- it usually takes mail between NC (me) and SC (him) 3 days. Sometimes 2. So I filed with paypal.
I write to warn anyone else who may've dealt with him to take necessary steps, if you've paid via paypal. Best of luck zilla68.

Well, I'm filed with paypal, and I've found him on several other forums.
He is from South Carolina and active or was active on paintball and an s-10 forum.
Going next door to see the Office of the Inspector General tomorrow if I don't hear something from him ASAP!

I've got the same story, transaction on the 14th, not a word since. Emails and PM's, filed with PayPal. I'm new to this but the CS rep at PayPal knew the name before I offered it. 10 day wait from PayPal for lost funds, good luck all.

A word regarding your experience: don't let this guy ruin the garagejournal for you. I've been buying and selling for a year on this site and this is the only problem I've ever had. The guys here are great -- both those buying/selling and the guys running the show (looking at you, Mr. Bull) -- the selection is widely diverse, and the prices are killer. Not to mention the information and experience on offer in the other forums. This guy isn't representative of GJ as a whole. Take care (and welcome!).

I sent in a paypal disput. I had a bad feeling after I sent this guy the money but I figured what the heck. Last pm I got from him said ill submit tracking once I get through all 40 of them. He wo t reply to my pm.
Fyi I puchased the t handle. What else did everyone else get. If multibles of the same item its safe to say this is a scam.

I bought the screw extractor set and the extensions. Hope I get the screw extractors so I can extract my screwing!!
FYI, he frequented s10 pickup forums, ford ranger forums, paintball and car stereo forums under the same screen name.
I also believe he lived here in OK in a town called Pryor and he is about 27, I have the exact birth date but working on more info.
It pays to have work ties to the US Marshall's office, FBI, and Office of the Inspector General.
If he don't come clean and either refund the money, or give me the tools, I will hang him to dry. The Feds WONT play these games, and I've done this before.
I had to call in a favor, but when the US marshall's showed up at the guys house lets just say, I got the motor I had paid for, and he won't be doing that again any time soon.
I don't play fair, sorry, lol.

I have found in 2 different areas that he is in that business, and I kind of thought it was odd to have all those items for sale, kinda adds up
I also called the number he was at here in OK, and left a message for someone to call me back, to see if I'm on the right trail.
Office of inspector general referred me to another force for US Mail Fraud, and wiring the money out of state is a whole nother box of worms.

My thoughts exactly. That's an odd collection for a young guy, not to mention he's got a pile of it -- as if he'd swiped a couple drawers from a tool crib.
Hello all...just got a pm saying there has been some confusion....screwdriver is to ship in the morning

I got no promise to ship. But he did tell me about Drew...said I'd be getting my money tomorrow. If I don't, I'll assume he's lying about 'Drew', and wait on paypal to force the money out of him.

I emailed with Kyle (the brother stuck in the middle of this), and he is working to ensure it all gets taken care of.
He is as pissed or more than we are I'm sure, as he is having to clean up this mess that he has been given.
He has been communicating regularly, so we will see what happens.
I'd say email the address that you sent the paypal to, I'm sure he will respond when he can, he did say he works 12hr days, I know its hard to be patient, but try, as kyle is trying to fix Drew's mess.

Got tracking from paypal messages. Got the same story as everyone else. Tracking number does show something shipping. We will see.....

I got my screwdrivers on Saturday - look to be in great shape, exactly as pictured/described. Tell the brother (Kyle) thanks.
what screwdrivers did you get? I paid for some also, this may be where my issue lies, if you got the mini's, then I need a refund.

Looks like I am another victim. i have been waiting on my two Snap-On 3/8s ratchets for over a month now, and I paid via gift so looks like I am screwed else they get shipped. I cant afford to lose $$ but notta I can do about it.

I filed a claim tonight and now I get a txt from Drew/Kyle whoever it is saying " Oh I see what ur doing trying to scam me out tools clam is being files against you now..." Lol. Guy has some balls!! Please contact PayPal if you got scammed he said they already pulled the money I sent from him. They are not messing around with this guy. Hope all works out!!

What I did receive from him was 2 1/4" ratchets which both were stripped and snap on driver said they were not under warranty. 2 1/4" extensions. A dead blow hammer beat to death, a few ratcheting screwdrivers in assorted colors. .....and 2 1/2" Williams ratchets.

Ill start by saying I appologies to anyone who thinks I'm attempting to scam them that's not my intention at all and I did ship everyone's items...Mschrum purchased a large portion of the tools also... Most of you will get your money back and then the tools are gonna show up and then I'm the one that got screwed... A few of you have already... So be it I guess this is what I get if I'm not on this forum every day... Again my appologies there was never an intention to screw anyone...

I guess I should add my experience also. I purchased his 1/2-3/8 impact reducer. I paid right away and received an email stating that the item would be shipped the next day. Been kind of busy here with fire season and all so I pretty much forgot about the transaction. A couple of days ago the reducer showed up. Checking the shipping info I see that it took over two weeks just to get shipped. It's pretty loose and will need to be replaced, but I did eventually get it. Good luck to the rest of you, Mike.
