Anyone have any experience with DMX 1-Step? I need to put something down between the concrete floor and the remnant carpets I'm laying down. If the carpet is put directly onto the cement, there are areas where moisture will show. I need to go with dimples due to the low ceiling heights (76" under the main carrying beams).
If not with DMX, how are dimple membranes in general? Long term? The carpets are more for a bit of warmth for the feet in the winter and more comfort walking on the floor. I am not going for the "finished" basement, but rather carpets to walk to the freezer and to my reloading area and have comfort.
Carpets are rubber backed freebies from work (dumpster dining). Most areas will have two layers of carpet (mainly to cover the seams).
