Thought I would share this thing since I cannot find another one. But I could also use a hand as the motor is toast and no on makes a replacement. I would like to get it running again. It runs a 64.5" blade.

Take it to a motor shop and have them look at it before you throw it away.

The lowest quote I'm getting locally is $300. I have some friends that said they might be able to help, but nothing yet. The older porter cable armature looks like it might work but thats a shot in the dark at $120. Just really hate to throw something away that is real sturdy and unique(couldn't believe there was no internet info on it). I called Do-all apparently this was built by wilton and that division of wilton is gone.

I've sold many Millwaukees, in good condition, in the 175. to 200. range. Try are the most popular. Porter cable and Dewalt are good too.

It worked, but it had a dead spot and would smoke when it did work. Its a 2 speed switch and it worked. Brushes are still good. The armature and the communicator have some issues. Looks like the wire has burned back from the connection.

Mmmm! Toasty!

Looks like the armature is shot at the connections to the comm bars in the photo.

It is repairable by a motor shop, but you'll have to decide if the price is worth it.

I'm going to update again for any other buggers like me with this saw. It was an ensley tool co design, ensley also built one as model #721. Theres also a possibility of ensley 722 and a millers fall tools one thats the same/similar.
I'm weighing the price and I may just buy another at this point.
