That's a good question. I have a Snap-on roll cab from the "70's and it doesn't have a sticker on the back.I think somebody said that a number might be stamped on the bottom. I've always wondered what model mine is.
Smart idea to check things out before buying. Good luck !

I think so stamped there model numbers on them starting sometimes in the 50s. Pre 50s has no model numbers stamped
