Do any companies use date codes on their ratchets?

Just as the title says, are there any ratchets out there that have a date code or some identifier to tell when it was made? I thought it would be pretty cool to own one with my birth year ('86). Thanks

I don't know if any manufacturers that do it today. But they used to do it especially Snap-On but i don't see it on their ratchets anymore. They don't even put COO anymore so you don't even know where they are made and you talking about date.

Most companies now use a simplified system:

"Made in USA" = Old
"Made in China" = New

My 2014 Snap-Ons have date stamps and say USA.

I have some older models that do have date and COO. I also have some and that don't have a date or COO. Because some of their guts were made in either Taiwan or Spain so they could not stamp USA on them.
