Do any stores warranty SK socket wrenches / ratchets?

I have two that are shot and I like them and would like to have them repaired or find a kit for them.

Just call SK; they should send you a kit out for free, at least thats what people around here are saying!

If the store is a SK dealer they should warranty the tool....Unless the tool was abused and not used for its intended purpose....ie they will not warranty a chrome socket that's been used with an impact gun etc...

If they are S-K ratchets still in production (like the 42470), you can get rebuild kits for them online.

LOL..... Good thing they last forever. You may need a ratchet kit every once in a while, and they seem to hand those out without too much drama. Just dont ever buy a screwdriver from them, its always either "wore out," or "been abused". They havn't honored the warranty on one since Sherman and Klove started SK in 1921.

My local Auto Plus autoparts store will warranty them but I have never had a need to warranty any of the SK tools. I just ordered a rebuild kit for one of my ratchets a few months ago from them and they sent it out right away.

I asked Advanced Auto Parts if they would be able to warranty a broken SK tool that they sell and they said yes. As long as it is available through them in store or online they can order you a replacement and cover it under warranty. At least that's what I was told when I was thinking about purchasing some SK impacts from Advance.
