But when using a jack or jack-stands, use some caution if the wheels or contact areas are relatively small. I used a Sears Craftsman 3-Ton jack with no problem, but I used an off-brand Aluminum jack (1-Ton) with small wheels and it deformed the RaceDeck slightly when under a load.

I will be using a 1/8" aluminum plate under the jack(s) from now on ...

yeah they roll easily and stay put when you quit pushing.

Small casters will deform the RaceDeck tiles but next warm day they pop back to shape.

my primary box is a snap-on krl-7002. it has pretty big wheels but is heavy as can be. i hope the weight won't be a problem.

This is my box.

There won't be a problem. A quality box has 4-inch casters or larger and they distribute the weight just fine.

yeah, that's a biggun too. i suppose if it rolls well then i should be ok.

i also plan for two of the craftsman storage cabs like you have as well. those seem to swallow up a great deal of stuff. any regrets getting that one?

Negative. In fact, I wish I had room for a second one. I may end up offing one of my shelving units and getting another one for general storage.

griots... nice choice. i have a bit of that myself.

that cab looks quite spacious. it's easier to get an idea of the cabinets size when you see it near full like that. thanks for the pic.
