One of the main reasons people buy and recommend Snap On is because of their warranty. You take away the warranty and you are left with an overpriced tool.
Huh? Hell no!
I bought Snap-On because their stuff doesn't break much at all. Warranty is a secondary concern, and I don't want to have to use it. If you need a good warranty, that means you expect stuff to break a lot. To heck with that.
You are not paying for the warranty when you buy their tools. You are paying for quality.
