do I have a weather window for the densifier and ghostshield???

Hi all,

So the contractors are done with the outside shell so I can restrict access to the concrete floor finally! We have that awesome red clay here in Richmond VA.
So yesterday I spent 3.5 hours power washing the floor as best as I could. Looks pretty good - sometimes you just cannot get all the clay out. (unless I want to spend days doing it - if I figure out a way).
Tomorrow is looking great weather wise for the densifier. near 70 degrees!
and looking at the forecast (attached pic) I think I might be able to get away with doing the ghostshield next weekend.
So couple of questions:

If I do the densifier tomorrow, is that enough time for the concrete to dry since powerwashing it yesterday? (I finished around 6:30pm)

If I densify tomorrow, could I ghostshield next weekend (Sat or Sun?) is that enough time? not quite the stated 7 days.

As you can see, we do have some rain in the middle of the week - I cannot stop it from getting on the apron or just inside the garage as I have no doors yet. Is that ok?

It won't be as warm next weekend as tomorrow, but are those temperature ranges acceptable for doing the ghostshield?

You should be fine with these temps. We have had people apply the product at lower temps without issue.

Well - that was fun - not! Taping everything up.

It is 57 currently and supposed to get to 70 today, so I plan to spray the 4500 down soon!

That was more work than anticipated! I sprayed the 4:1 mixture and it absorbed well - until it didn't. I quickly started rolling to spread it out and it still had a shiny look!
So I grabbed some towels and started wiping - last thing I wanted was to get the dreaded white coating! Anyway - finished it up and my back is killing me.

Here are some pics of it sort of dry - no white yet - hopefully none will surface later...

This project brings lots of good information out. Without going into the OPs specifics, here are some of the basics we covered

Weather: Minimum 50 degrees at time of install. It's ok if it cools down after. I would not say that is ideal but a minimum.

Saturation (4500): It's important not to overapply 4500. Rollers, etc for overspray are great but you should not overspray and roll. The rollers are for mistakes. Try and only apply what soaks in immediately.

Saturation (8510) 8510 is often over-applied as part of the install. Because of the solvents in the material, it will soak in. This will vary some based on doing a 1 coat vs two coat application.

I just went out there and checked it out again. Went into the corner that I did first - so about 4ish hours ago. I used my hand on the floor and created a little pile of crystals (at least that is what it looked like).
Hopefully this is the extent of my "white" coating!
I would advise having some towels available in case you end up with a slight over application!

So I applied the ghostshield today. Temp is about 48 degrees and sunny. Put down 6 gallons. Probably could have gotten away with a little more than 5 but the brushed apron sucked up more - and I did not want just a little left. This was much easier since it is a "flood" coat. So I soaked it pretty good. I did the densifier on Monday.
Temps are ok - wish it was a little warmer but I this is my only window for another week or two. Around freezing tonight and then 53 and sunny tomorrow with low of 40 and Monday is 60 with low of 51 - with PM showers arriving and then rain through Friday....

So I have some pooling/puddling going on with the 8510. Temps got colder than anticipated last night - hit 27 degrees. It is currently 45 and supposed to get to 51 later. So it will be a full 24 hours in 2 hours. Should I let it continue to sit/soak, use a rubber squeeqee to spread it around some, or should I get some towels and start wiping it up?
I noticed that there is a jelly-like substance in the wet areas. You can see it in the close up pics. Is that normal?
Looking for guidance! It is supposed to rain tomorrow so I want to make sure I am handling it properly today.
