Do I keep this workstation or sell it?

I bought an old garage to set up my work shop, and this John bean front end service center came with it,along with a Lincoln Engineering Workstation that I plan on refinishing.Do I keep this one also or sell it. I have the room, but I am not a collector.

The garage I bought has six bays. One bay was set up as a front end alignment station with the John Bean workstation, along with a John Bean wheel balancer.
Another bay was set up with a Lincoln Engineering Mechanics workstation.
This place is like taking a walk back in time.

Sleep on that thought for a few weeks... You may grow attached to it,, or soon hate the sight of it.....

That old equipment has some history behind it,,, but not everyone is a history nut..
But It does sound like it belongs there..

If you have no need for it or attachments to it, I'd say sell it to someone who'll appreciate it and it'll help fund your next project or tool purchase.

Tearing all that out for a the little bit of cash you might get doesn't seem like a winner.

Agreed. Also post a location. If you do decide to sell someone on this site may offer you a fair amount. The last one posted was sold here.

Attached is a photo of the Lincoln Workstation. You can see the bench in back of it. I have moved it to a single bay, and will post a better photo later.
This building is in Massachusetts, an was a wreck when I got it. I have stripped and replaced the roofs, vinyl sided the building added gutters, all new electric being installed, new insulated garage doors, and fresh paint everywhere. It is looking like new. It has a main 1200 sq ft garage, with a 12 X 14 overhead door. in addition to that are two commercial floors above at 1200 each. There is a 30 x 60 5 bay garage attached to the main garage. The 1200 sq ft garage will be my workshop, and I am partitioning off the other bays to rent. I will post building photos later.
This place came with a number of pieces of equipment.

Restore them, they kind of belong in that shop.....but, as mentioned not everyone is in to the vintage stuff.

Still would like to see the entire shop as it sounds pretty neat.

It has been a year since I purchased the building, and I have partitioned off the back section by bay. Previously it was a 60 X 30 attached building with five overhead doors. Two tenants now occupy the five bays . The upper two floors have been made structurally sound, walls converted to 2 X 6, new electric service & natural gas (underground) to the building. separate meters for all.
The larger bay is my garage which is 1200 square feet with a 13' ceiling.
I have installed floor to ceiling racking in 1/2 of the space and have filled the racks with many many miscellaneous items that I need to go through. You name it, and it is more than likely on one of the shelves. from mirrors, hood ornaments to a case of 12 brand new reverse painted Pontiac indian signsfrom the 1940's.

This would be a great place that I would have friends over to talk and work on cars. With the right equipment, there wouldn't be anything you couldn't do there!

I can envision mix of retro and current stuff all in the same shop.

Pour on the TLC to shop and you'll be rewarded in the end. There are no new shops being built that will have CHARACTER that yours will.
