do i need a special puller to remove this pulley?

taking apart my compressor to move it. i need buy some pullers to pull the pulleys off. probably a HF one.

the large pulley, does it need a special puller, or will a regular puller work?

Looks like a sliding tee will work with those 2 holes that are opposite from each other in the hub.

It's a straight bar with a threaded hole in the center and slots on either side. Someone more thrifty can probably post a link. I can't figure that stuff out.

How far apart are the two outer holes?

Something like this will work but it only needs to have space for two outer bolts, like was said earlier.

You can make it if you don't want to go buy it, just tap a bolt (a little smaller than the center washers) into a piece of steel plate and drill holes in the plate for two bolts/screws to go through the plate into the two outer holes. Thread evenly into the outer holes and then push the center bolt in to force the plate outward. That'll push the plate against the two outer bolts/screws and off comes the pulley.
