bull_duck, what or which torx socket did you end up using; that was able hold up with the use of a air impact wrench? Which impact wrench did you buy? Air tools and impact wrenches; can be very helpful, just a light blip of the trigger can get allot of fasteners off that can be a challenge by hand. They are also great; when something can't be held stationary... the quick blip removes the but/bolt, you are going to be spoiled now!

Thank you. Because this is Garage Journal, a photo I will share is of my 2008 105th Anniversary Road Glide, loaded on the back of my F150, with a Rampage lift in the truck bed. The Rampage automatically lifts the bike from the street to the bed, and lowers as well. I off load the Rampage using a wench I installed in the ceiling of the garage. The Rampage then rests on a "sled" I made that is rolled to the side of the garage where cabinets are mounted on the wall allowing the Rampage and its sled to be tucked underneath.

I ordered and have received an Ingersoll Rand 1/2 in. Quiet Impactool Impact Wrench - Sears Item# 00919274000 | Model# 2131QT. Comments here, searching this forum, and reading elsewhere convinced me that I had to get one, a good one. The reported operating noise level of 82 db made the 2131QT my choice. I live in a covenant restricted subdivision and can't have the sound of a pneumatic tool screaming for the neighbors to hear.

Glad it worked out..you will also find the had driver helpful for phillips drive screws too. Particularly aluminum screws/bolts.. Great looking bike setup.
