Also, this can be done online today at acehardware.com as well. The coupon code is SAT50SAVE and you can also get free shipping to your local store.

I used the online this morning and have plans to use the print later this morning.

Is the online code dead?

I wondered about that today, as the cashier said we are "***'s", not "Ace", even as I looked at the Ace sign behind her. She said if the coupon scanned, they would take it, but of course it did not scan. I agree and thought the exact same thing about having the advantage of big name but not accepting the big name coupons......makes me wonder who takes the hit on profits.

Anyone know if the local owner pays the difference? The other store I went to was an independant, wanted to ask the owner but did not.

I would doubt (based upon nothing really) that Ace corporate reimburses the individual stores the full amount, but maybe a percent of the discount. The upside being Ace corporate did the marketing, advertising and hosts the website with the coupons. Furthermore they can argue (rightly so) that they're getting more customers in the owners' stores.

I bought a flat free wheelbarrow tire while I was there too at a greatly inflated price of $54, so my store owner did good to have me there. I only did it 'cause with my Amex Shop Small discount it'll work out to be a $29 flat free tire, which is a little better than I can do online.

I bought some Wiss snips and some mini metric combo wrenches. I was thinking hard about the Craftsman 1/2" breaker bar but passed. Most of the Craftsman stuff they had I already have.

couldn't figure out what to get. almost got the 16 oz. Ace Claw hammer, decided I really didn't need another woodworking hammer. Almost got the baby ball pien hammer, really didn't need it either. (Have one) Almost got the gallon of $12.00 chain/bar lube, glad I didn't, as TSC has it down to $5.99.
I have to be careful to not buy stuff I won't really use these days, just because it is a good deal.
Just ended up with the brass hose nozzle since my dollar flea market /I had to repair one got stolen. I didn't think they still made them. About $3.45 out the door.

I hit the local Ace 20 min before closing, walked around and left when the store closed with nothing. Weird combination of feeling bad about using the coupon, and not finding anything I "really" wanted remotely close to, but under $30.

Looked at;
$28 gallon of WD40.
$4 garden hose replacement end, but could remember if I have 1/2 or 5/8 hose.
Nothing in tools I don't have plenty of, and no useful sets of any kind left, just singles.
$35 Bernzomatic over the limit.
$29.99 gift pack wash bucket set looked made for the sale, mostly empty.

Store was very busy, full parking lot etc.

I also had trouble finding anything I "needed." If nothing else a can of Rustoleum was gonna be my fall back. I seem to use any of the common colors sooner rather than later.

I got a set of American Made Punches. My harbor freight ones exploded damn near instantly when used.

Picked up some Channellock 440s for half price and grabbed a 16 piece set of Dewalt drill bits on sale for $9.99. All in all worth stopping in.

Went to Ace Hardware to get pick up my "free ship to store" Crescent pliers, clearly stamped USA. To my great disappointment, they were made in Taiwan. Made a return immediately, as I'm politically opposed to shipping my dollars overseas if I don't have to. False advertisement by Ace...

I picked up a new grill cover this year. I always struggle finding something as there is little I need and their prices are always a bit inflated. Bought a toilet seat a previous year, lol.

Picked up a new snow shovel...

Just about every 2 years I replace one model shovel. One metal edged, the other a pusher, both Garant. Today I went extreme, and got the 36" pusher with replaceable blade. Really hope it lasts more than 3 years.

I also grabbed an overpriced Milwaukee 10mm flex ratchet

Does Ace Hardware have general % off coupons? I never shop there, but they have a Made in USA wheelbarrow in-store that I'm interested in, and wouldn't mind knocking some dollars off MSRP.

They have had a couple 15% off's this month, and usually have one every month on a Monday in the app. It is off regular prices.

Also, they may still be running the promo to get a $10 bonus gift card when purchasing a $50 card. TopCashBack also offers 4% back on online purchases.

I saw the gift card deal and was going to get a few, but I see they have a three card limit on online purchases. Is there a limit for instore purchases?
And do you have a 15% coupon lying around, for in-store purchases?

Any coupon I have is tied to my account in the app. And I think the only coupon I have right now is for bonus points.

The only 15% off coupon they usually have is for Black Friday weekend, and a couple other holidays

I actually believe it was a two card limit per user. However I think I just used two different emails to get the total of four

For gift card limit, I meant using them. Online, Ace limits use of three gift cards when buying online.
